MOOC stands for Massive Open Online Courses. Many universities are now offering free MOOC courses to people all over the world. You simply register online and then take the course at your own speed. You access the material via your computer.

What does this have to do with us? On September 17th, a six week MOOC course, Gender and Sexuality: Applications in Society is being offered through the University of British Columbia by Dr. Janice Stewart. As we launch into the Fall and all of our programs, we will be offering several opportunities to engage in our Affirming Ministry process. This is one way for you to become more LGBTQ+ savvy.
