On Sunday, November 24th, Okotoks United Church celebrated becoming an Affirming Community of Faith within the United Church of Canada. With a letter of greeting from the Moderator and a certificate from Affirm United/S’affirmer Ensemble, we dedicated ourselves to further advocacy and support for all who find themselves challenged by the church and organized religion.
